Who in my professional life right now most deserves an unreasonable gesture, and what would that gesture be?

Not a transaction - not a useful introduction or a shared article, though those are fine.
A gesture that demonstrates I noticed something specific and true about where they are right now.
A collaborator who's been quietly carrying something heavy.
A student who submitted something brilliant and got only an automated grade back.
A client who mentioned a concern in passing that you filed away and never acted on.

The reason this matters specifically for me is that my professional identity is partly built around intellectual output - insight, frameworks, analysis.
It creates admiration.
What it can undercut, subtly, is warmth.
People may find e impressive without feeling close to me.
In the long run, the most durable professional relationships - the kind that generate introductions I didn't ask for, advocacy I didn't know was happening, loyalty that outlasts any particular engagement - are built on the warmth layer, not the impressiveness layer.

Therefore, I'd like to make one unreasonable gesture per week.
Not a generic "thinking of you" - something so specific to one person that it could only have come from me, for them.

Use Local MCP which runs bash and exposes these under `~` at `/home/sanand/`. Read between lines.

Who deserves an unreasonable gesture? Pick five. Explain why.
