I hate this. “Beginning April 2, 2002, we – Geocities – will no longer provide FTP access as part of our free home page service.” Nice of them to let me know well in advance, though.
No FTP on Geocities
I’m frustrated that Geocities is discontinuing free FTP access for home pages starting April 2, 2002. While they gave advance notice, removing this core feature makes managing my free site significantly more difficult.
