Kartoo has an amazing Flash interface for a search engine. I’m not sure how to use it effectively, but I’m sure someone’ll take this idea up and make something really useful out of it.

I'm exploring Kartoo's impressive Flash-based search interface. Although its utility isn't immediately clear to me, the visual mapping of search results is a unique concept that could be refined into something truly useful for navigation.
